Were video games to blame for massacre?

Pundits rushed to judge industry, gamers in the wake of shooting

I believe that they are right in saying that it is unfair for people to jump to conclusions and play the blame game. As a gamer I am shocked that people would unjustly blame video games for the reason why there are school shootings. They say in the article that after the police searched cho's home and found no video games Jack Thompson still would admit that he jumped the gun and was wrong. The fact that he refused to admit that he was wrong shows something very vicious about him.

Can video games improve driving ability?

I think that it is very intruging how video games have become so involvesd with everyday life. It seems to me that driving simulator would very much help everyone to learn to drive then slowly get them on the road. It is a great concept for this new age.

I agree with your statement about the driving simulator. Video games could be used to benefit society in certain aspects, rather than just dwelling on the negative. I also agree that a video game does not make someone shoot up a school. It may assist in provoking it but the drive must have intitially been in that person's mind as well as years of flawed psychological behavior.
